I'm looking to give my russian more variety in her diet. I found these prickly pear cactus on eBay would they be good to feed her and possibly be put into her enclosure?

Prickly pear is good for tortoises, but be warned if you plant it in the enclosure, it may not last long.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing probably wouldn't get the proper sunlight it needs but it would be worth a try I guess I don't have too much plants in there with her. What plants would you suggest to put in there with her?

I actually mean the plants will most likely be eaten by the russian, I actually grow bird seed in plastic trays and place those in there, so they can nibble on them. Most plants I can think of won't last long in a tortoise pen. I would try and grow dandelions perhaps, they grow quick, I would avoid grasses for the most part, they are not a big part of a russian's diet.

Oh ok I get you now haha but yeah I want to introduce more food items to her. I have been feeding her romain and carrots mostly some collards here and there but I think she would like it of I mixed it up a little more.

Well you can grow it your self and then feed it to them, my russians this year had grape leaves, dandelion leaves and flowers, various squash leaves and flowers, hibiscus leaves and flowers, artichoke leaves, strawberry leaves, pumpkin leaves (a big hit), radish tops. All grown by me, but outside of their enclosure.
