GOT A QUESTION!

Can anyone tell me how often i should feed my greek tortoise? he's approx 2 years old and has a MAJOR appetite. i feed him approx 3 times a day with a mixture of kale and romain/carrots/red leafs.. i dont want to over-feed him but keep getting mixed answers!

I always feed my leopard, two now, a large handful so he will have some for any time of the day he wants a nibble.

Welcome! Over feeding shouldnt be to worry with some considerable variables. Unless its food lacking nutirents, or outside the greeks best diet. That being said. Give him as much grass, and weeds he will eat. However he does need adequate exercise. So placing him outside in a pen with broad leaf weeds and grasses is best for the animal. If he is inside i would not pile it up for him. Tortoises can get fat. So whats his enclosure like. Do you have an outdoor enclosure with weather permitting?

im trying to figure out how to post some pix on my profile but i got him in a 40 gal tank with some little decorations and a big turtle shell for his hiding spot. its pretty cool. ya he chows down bigtime and atleast once a day when i get home from work i take him out back to walk around for like 20 mins or so.. have yet to set up an outside area for him.. this is his 4th day with me
