I agree, Tile trackers operate via Bluetooth and have a very limited range. You're better off working to secure the enclosure. Can you post some pictures of the current setup, maybe we can offer some tips?

So my tortoise keeps escaping, so I’ve started looking into gps trackers to find it because apparently a fence with 2 big logs leaning against it isn’t enough to keep it in. I have found this item but I was wondering if anyone could think of a good way to attach it to my tortoise safely? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W87124X/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20
What species?

The solution is not to be out looking for a lost tortoise. The solution is to build a proper enclosure that will safely contain your tortoise. Tell us what size and species you are working with and we can offer suggestions.
