So there is a nursery down the road that grows everything organically. They have a few different species of grass, the one I remember are the sedges, there was another species and variations of the species, but I forgot its name. I would love a list of grass that safe to plant in the outside table they can eat and provide shade. I have used the TheTortoiseTable, but the grass list is too small for me.

Was more hoping for a list of grass that people use in their enclosures, I am planting so far 1 sod of Argentina grass, 1 sod of Bermuda grass, and oat grass seeds that I am growing out.

I don't understand what you want. Any one of the grasses listed above could be planted in an enclosure. Just compare what the nursery has to the list and start planting.

I just use pasture mixes that are made for horses and cattle. They have a mix of grasses that are all on the list above. I figure if the whole mix is made to be eaten, its all okay.

Sorry. I don't know about the exotic grasses at your local organic nursery. Does their sod have the plastic netting embedded in it, like normal sod does?

The list given to you is one of my favorite lists to use.
:)

Happy planting!

The sod I will be buying at HomeDepo, the nursery does not have sod grass, but they have grass in containers, the names were not given on the list, so I will be taking the names when I go and buy vegetables and flowers from there to plant to put up here.
