Some are Safe... But make sure you know the blend in case there is something you prefer to not be in there like Sun Flower Seeds

i ihave no idea. some of the uneaten birdseed(by the birds) comes up in my garden but not much sprouts it seems. it may be sterilized...i know that nyger seed is sterilized.
bermuda grass is an excellent source of food and i have some of that coming up as weeds in my garden and i harvest it for the torts. once bermuda grass takes hold, it is FOREVER!
