Hi everyone, I am a newbie and have been using a small box of sphagnum moss (dry and yellowish colour) and mulch as substrate. After research, I realize moss and coconut coir are my best options, so I want to buy some moss online the best I can find is on lllreptiles but they have that sphagnum green moss in 16qts? Is this good to buy for my baby red foot and to use as a substrate mixed with coconut coir?

Whats the difference between green and yellowy??

I really wanna buy the green because its such a good deal!

I don't know what's the difference, but its ok to buy it. It might be dyed, but I'm sure its safe or LLL wouldn't sell it.

LLLReptile has great prices. You can also find great prices on moss at Reptile Basics. But they only sell the tan moss, which is new Zealand long fibred sphagnum moss. Which btw is the best quality of the sphagnum mosses.
