Cute pictures.

In the last pic with the clover? That is perlite. Extremely dangerous to tortoises. They will eat it and it breaks down and lines their GI tract. That soil needs to be removed ASAP, or the tortoise removed from the area.

Thanks Tom.. it is clover and in a window box. I can absolutely switch out the soil..

Its fine to use as potting soil to grow tortoise food, but the tortoise should never have access to the perlite. I just cut the food with scissors and then put it in the tortoise enclosure.
