How fast should my Sulcata be growing? I have been measuring her/him every two weeks. Last week she was from top edge of shell to bottom 2 1/2". Bottom was 2". Today i measured and top was 3" and bottom 2 1/4". Is she growing as she should be? Here are a couple pics i took today. One soaking and one sleepy pic. Lol

Cutie...your sully is growing. There really is no chart for growth, they all grow differently.

As said above, no growth chart. There are some that are runts, but at the same time they can be "underweight". I'm still a newbie with sulcatas though.

The only real way of knowing is to just average it I suppose. So many different variables are at hand when gauging growth. Genetics, how well they were taken care of right out of the egg, UVB exposure, soakings, feeding routine, correct temperatures, moisture, hyrdration that helps a good growth. I can tell you this of mine that hatch out when I keep some they are around 6-8" in length around 1 year of age. I keep them on a pretty strict routine though of consistent measures of hydration, great diet, and UVB exposure.
