Hey there guys!
Thought I would make a little thread sharing the continuous growth of my red foot tortoise Tulip. I thought that this would be a good way for me too keep track of her growth through the months and years.
Tulip was approximately about 3.7 inches when I got her, I am not sure on weight but I know that she was about a year old. I did not weigh her when I first got her, but through these next years of growth I’ll be weighing her through the months.
I have had Tulip for almost a year and she’s grown a TON! She’s now 6 inches (grown about 3.3 inches in one year) and weighs 726 grams, almost 2 lbs. she is not quite two yet (she will be this April)
The first photo is her around the time I got her, you can see the size comparison to my hand (my hand is really small 🤣
The second is her now, MASSIVE 1 1/2 year old.
Approximate hatch date is April 3 2021 😉
