Welcome! Nice looking animals! You can nip that pyramiding on the sulcata in the bud...by boosting his temps and humidity...and soak him twice a day...if you're not already! There's no way that desk lamp is providing enough heat (or UV). Look into the Powersun from ZooMed (100 watts approximately 12" above his basking spot should improve things! And add a Ceramic Heat Emitter for nighttime heat. And give this a read...

Hello Dany and welcome to the forum you do have some good looking torts. I agree with Dean and you need to get the prymiding on the Sulcata stopped. just read the link he provided and definitely a different heat source and you will be on you way to stopping the pyramiding..Good luck..

Hi Dany:

Welcome to the forum!!

Your tortoises are beautiful.

Please feel free to look back at our previous posts in the sulcata, star and radiata threads so you can be sure that you are offering your tortoises the best care that they deserve.

Your radiated tortoises are just absolutely beautiful. If they weren't so darned expensive here in the states, I would have some too.

Beauties!

I don't know about other peoples opinions - but I hate astro-turf (or indoor/outdoor carpeting). I think it makes a terrible substrate for all reptiles.

Couldn't agree more...EVERYBODY used it back in the 80s...and I never understood that. Of course, I was keeping giant Burm's and Emerald tree boas at the time, so it was never an option for me anyway.

@everybody : thx for the comment :D

the sulcata is already pyramiding when i bought it, and i will followed Mr Deans suggestions :)

@emysemys : in indonesia i buy it for about $350 for my 1st radiata ( 10 cm ) and about $400 for my second radiata ( 12 cm )

@desertgrandma : for now 1st radiata size 10 cm and the 2nd 12 cm :D

Wow, beautiful tortoises. I love the radiated, and the Sulcatas are super cute. And the Star Tort I love anyways, because I just got one myself. :D
