My name is Itzeel and I do not own a tortoise yet but I am very interested in purchasing one (Hermann tortoise). I have had turtles in the past but I have very minimal experience with tortoises, I have taken care of one before that my dad found near our house but besides that I would be a first time owner. I do not want to buy a tortoise without doing research since finding the adequate tortoise for me is my main goal.
