Hello everyone!
I am a chemistry PhD student and the University of Illinois and more importantly, this is my Three-toed boxie Squirtle! I've had him for about 2 years now, and he lives outdoors in a 8x4' terrarium. He just woke up from hibernating through our relatively hard winter a couple of weeks ago and is out and about finding snails and such to eat (hes in the process of biting a snail's shell in the bottom picture). Just like me he eats much more meat than veggies, but I think he'll turn that around when he gets a bit older. I believe he is a wild caught, and the vet at the university said he would estimate that hes around 5 to 6 years old.
