Hello, this is my first tortoise.

After doing a bunch of research, I bought a red foot tortoise and just received them this week. I would like to show everyone the setup I have going on. I'm using cypress mulch with spagnum moss mixed on top. The lights/heat are an MVB on one side and a ceramic heat emitter over the hide. They are set up on a timer so the light is on during the day and the ceramic heat emitter during the night. Any criticism or advice would be appreciated!

No need to apologize! I love how helpful and dedicated to educating each other everyone is here. I have learned more in my few weeks here than in all the research I did prior to getting my russian! Luckily I found the forum soon after so some mistakes were corrected right away and he is finally settling in and eating well.

He's only a few months old and about 3-4 inches long
