I'm Anthea and I live in Rustington,West Sussex. I live with my hubby, 3 kids and LOTS of pets!!
2 spur thighs :tort:
2 dogs (ridgeback & beagle/cocker)
2 cats
5 rabbits
2 chickens
barn owl
quails
and waiting for ducks to hatch!!!! :p:p

The reason I have joined today is I would like to know the sex of my oldest torty,I think female? S/he was hatched 2010

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

Usually I can tell the sex of the mediterranean species because the males have such obviously big tails...but your tortoise is sort of up in the air for me. The cloaca is away from the body, looking male, however, the tail is small, looking female.

Let's wait and see what others have to say.

Hello and Welcome:). I don't have the best record for sexing, but my guess would be female

Thankyou both, I think female, but from what I've read it could be another couple of years to tell for certain!! lol
It's not really important just curious :)
