HELP... (dark patches on shell)

Hi all.

I wonder if anyone can help?
My tortoise George has developed dark patches all over his shell and some on his neck.
He appears healthy, eating/drinking, walking fine and seems as happy as larry.
I'm not sure what it could be?

Looks normal .Could use some humidity .

That's a very pretty tortoise. I don't keep that kind but my guess is that what you're seeing is new growth and design or pattern. Let's send a shout-out to @HermanniChris . He may be able to give you a better answer.

It's normal and the animal is showing growing markings.
