Hey guys. I just purchased my first Greek Tortoise (I was told he was less than a year old) yesterday from Petsmart. I noticed this morning that he has a runny nose (bubbles), sneezing, and rubbing his nose on his legs. I took him to my vet and he said that he has an RI and prescribed him Baytril injectable solution (0.35cc) for 7 days - through the front leg.
I do not want to take him back to Petsmart because I already care a lot for this little guy and would love for him to be healthy and happy. He is eating a lot of zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. My questions are... what do I do? How long until he will show signs of improvement? Do I need to be soaking him? How much should I handle him? Should he be drinking water (I haven't seen him drink any).
I just feel so bad for the little guy and I want him to be happy and healthy. ANY HELP/SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT! THANKS A TON!
