Help! Shell rot?

Hi!! Does this look like shell rot?? I noticed a dark spot there in January and didn’t think anything of it but I’ve been reading about shell rot and am worried that is what is going on. It doesn’t look too different from what I saw in January. There also is a bit of an odor coming from her enclosure.

I don't see shell fungus but it sounds like it might be time to clean out your enclosure and change the substrate.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know what normal looks like really so I was worried about the dark spot and it almost felt a little softer to me but maybe just a normal change in texture. I am learning!
We had just cleaned the enclosure and changed the substrate and there was a (slight) odor a couple of days later which seemed too soon/unusual. Maybe she’s just growing and more smelly haha
