Is this sphagnum Moss ok to use? And is this light better than the Petco's brands? It's a 10 1/2 300 watt clamp light with a porcelain socket!

I have never used that brand of moss and mostly because it was to much moss. The clamp light is fine..

Peat moss (ground up sphagnum moss, right?) is great, especially mixed with organic topsoil, bit dusty by itself. It also helps drainage in outside enclosures if you dig it in to the soil. That is a big bag.
the fixture is great.

I think that's the same one I use (I get it at Lowes if that helps.)

Great! The Fixture is only $6 so great buy then? And the bag of Moss is only $4 and that's best mixed with topsoil? Or can it just be used alone?

Do you think those PowerSun UV Mercury Vapor UVB bulbs will work with that fixture?

Yeah, definitely. You're really lucky you found that fixture, I spent like $20 on mine lol
