Herman's new table

Hello all. Just wanted to show everyone the tortoise table I built this weekend. Wondering if I missed anything and if there are any recommendations as to what type of plant would be best suited to plant indoors and would thrive? The table is 48"x27" and is my first tort table ever built. When I got Herman the previous owners had him in an 18"x18" glass terrarium, so I'm hoping this will be much better for him.

Herman is in our house and we keep the temperature at around 70 degree mark so I don't think it is needed. Is this a correct assumption?

Night temperatures should be below 65 degrees with high 50's-very low 60's being ideal.
