I used to live in Ashby-de-la-Zouch , England!
Do you know about British Chelonia Group(www.britishcheloniagroup.org.uk)-I used to go to the monthly meetings at Blaby.
They are great as you get lots of talks from speakers and get to meet lots of tortoise enthusiasts-I REALLY miss that being here, at least there is this forum which is great but I miss the social contact a lot.
There are lots of locations for the BCG-I'll take a look where your nearest would be
