Sammy,

How long have you had 'it'? Was him/her (aka 'it') like that when you first got? If not then there's something wrong for sure. What do you classify as perfect diet? Looks like you have him on coconut husks and there's definate signs of beginning stages of pyramiding.

I've had my guy on the redfoots.com diet and living regime for more than 6 months now and it's perfect shell growth. The only thing I do different is feed earth worms that I purchase from a bait shop and feed 'it' that once a week while it's still a baby (when it gets older it might not be feasible to feed 20-30 earth worms just to get it full. So at that time i'll feed it more cat food. And for cat food I choose one of the most highest quality holistic brands called Innova. You can usually find them in a holistic pet food store (here in Toronto it's Global Ryan's Pet Foods). Just read the ingredient list and compare. I would eat this stuff myself. No byproducts, all natural (holistic).

If you've had it for a while, something needs to change because somewhere you are going wrong (I say this only if this shell growth has occured during your husbandry).

Redfoots.com...that's the answer. If that's what you're doing already, something is not right.

Here's some photos of my guy at approx. 8 months 3.1"scl (Cherry Head Redfoot)

Ah, then if you are doing redfoots.com care regime. It will look less noticeable over time to not noticeable as he gets full size.
