My name is AmberJean and I reside in Virginia. I go to college for art. I have a eastern box turtle named Ma'am. And now a egg! I love turtles and have owned a red ear slider that lived to be atleast 8. I have 2 horses and 5 dogs. I love animals more then anything.

I am very excited! But also very scared I wont be able to care for it correctly. I've been googling like crazy trying to make sure I'm doing everything right.

You will do fine. When I use to bring the box turtle eggs in to incubate (these day I just leave them out in the enclosure), I would simply have them with damp paper towels or substrate and just leave them in a dish in an unused cupboard. Seemed to work well for me.

Ma'am my Eastern Box turtle laid it. She's mated a couple of times with my friends male. Unfortuanetly it didn't make it, nor did the other 2 she laid.
