Hi guys I'm from the UK I have a 7 year old Hermanns tortoise called Alice who is actually a boy I've just had to get his beak filed as it's become overgrown, he doesn't like cuttlefish so any suggestions would be welcome, thank You!

Children don't like peas but we get them to eat them ( peas not children )
He only needs 1/8 teaspoon once or twice a week ! Good luck

hello from Scotland! have you seen the care sheets for your little one yet?

perhaps feeding from a slate would help keep things trimmed?

if you post up some pics of your tort and enclosure it'll help with advice..... and we love pics :)

happy tortin'

Welcome to the Forum, Sarah!

I brought home some pieces of broken sidewalk from a demolition site. I use the flat ones to feed my tortoises on. It's rough and helps keep the beaks filed down.

Hi Sarah from a fellow Brit.
Welcome to a great place for up to date information and inspiration and most importantly - help.
As John said feeding on a piece of slate will help.
