Hi 155227254, and welcome to the Forum! Is there a significance to your username?

The reason we keep each species of tortoise separate is so they don't make each other sick. Tortoises from each continent have their own little micro-organisms that live inside their bodies and when you expose tortoises from other continents to each other they might get sick or even die. This doesn't seem to be as big a problem with captive bred tortoises.

Welcome back to you and all your tortoises, especially the new leopard.
They are beautiful.
Are you certain they're not bullying each other for food or territory?
It's hard to spot sometimes, but it can cause stress for them, so I have read and seen many times.

Indeed the bullying effect is significant when they are eating! an easy way to deal with this is to feed them separately. I feed the smaller ones first and then the larger ones. The three largests, one leopard 17cm, one new leopard 13cm, one marginated 12cm, are fed every other day. So I could let all of them eat equally. Concerning the territory, I have three caves for them, so they could choose their favorate cave. Of course, I have two tortoise tables, one for the three largest, the other for the else.
P.S. I see many times that the bermise stars are extremely in danger. However, as i live in China, there are many tortoise keepers have tens of bermese stars. I estimate there are thousands of bermese stars in China and many are lying babies. However, since it is illegal, it is not reported by the media.

Yep, this forum is a very nice one! Some of the articles are translated into Chinese and are read by many keepers in our country. Thats how I find this forum. Very excellent!
