I everyone I'm new to the forum and tortoises, but they really in Interest me its like my whole life has become about them! I am planning on getting a baby sulcata soon. But I want to make sure his setup is good I have mostly every thing but not all of it and don't plan on getting him till it's perfect. The things I have are: substrate two clamp lights a hideaway and his enclosure. I just need UVB light heat lamp and heat pad does that sound correct. Oh and his bowl sorry forgot.

Hello and welcome!

I never used a heat lamp for my sucata. What's his bowl for? If it's the water bowl, make sure that it's not deep and your new tort can get in and out of it easily. Also look into getting a cuttlebone. They come in handy :)
