Hey, I’m currently pet sitting a tortoise who’s hibernating in a fridge, I’ve been opening the door for 5mins each day for air circulation.
However today I’ve got home and readied I’d left it open all day! There’s been some movement as there’s mud that wasn’t there before but I checked him buy poking his leg slightly and there was no retraction or general movement.
Will he be okay if I close the fridge and carry on again?

I'll let someone else answer regarding putting him back in, but you don't need to open it that long. I think if you literally open it and close it, maybe wait a few seconds, you should be fine. Some people never open it at all

Yep. Shut the door. Carry on.
