Hello!
No, you should not bother it. If overall brumation setup is correct (temperatures and humidity), they don't lose much water. In your previous post there was a link to this thread: https://tortoiseforum.org/threads/toms-brumation-thread.201823/ - a lot of information on brumation is compiled there.

There are also keepers/breeders of marginated tortoises who don't brumate them at all and consider it more appropriate for this species.

I wasn't going to, he's 5 years old now and this would be his first. We live in Scotland so obviously it's getting cold now and I've seen a change in his behaviour. More lethargic than normal
