Hi guys, I'm from the uk and have two marginated torts that I plan to hibernate this year. Was wondering if there is anyone else out there planning on hibernating their torts this winter?

Me :)

I have a hermann's, but the principle should be the same. ;) This will be his first fridge-hibernation, I'm so nervous!

I will hibernate some of my tortoises, including my yearling Marginated, and my Russian tortoises.
Because I'm selfish and want to be able to look at them for part of the winter, I'll hibernate them a few at a time, wile leaving 1 or 2 out. :) There are some very good hibernation threads on this forum - you should be able to find all the necessary info. The method is about the same for all different kinds - stop feeding, cool down, pack up, keep temps steady (thermometer), weigh intermittently.
