Homemade Hideout using icecream container

Well, My Russian Tort Jojo was digging obsessively in one corner of his cage. I figured he felt safest in this area. So I made him a hideout for that corner of his terrarium. It works perfectly for him, and he loves it so far! I figured I would share this easy cost effective hideout idea.

Works well for Russians and hatchlings/Torts not much bigger then about 7"

Materials needed;
1 plastic container of your choice of Icecream! (the smaller oval-ish ones work best) :D

Yep. I emptied my Blue Bunny Cookie Dough icecream container. A treat for me, and a home for Jojo! I buried it a bit like a planter pot, added some dirt on top and some twigs from the backyard to make it look more natural, and viola! Cheap useful Tort furniture. :]

Awesome....good idea and looks like it has the tortoise approval....I just love love love when an item can be reused instead of wasted....good job :D
