Homemade leaf mulch

What about homemade mulch?

I've been using peat moss for some time but I notice it's making my tortoises dirty. I was thinking about going back to cypress mulch, but I always ended up with bugs in the mulch.

Anyway I was curious about blending the leaf mulch to dilute the peat moss or something.

As long as it's pesticide free, there shouldn't be a problem.

i use that with my tegus. works great and its free.
