I have no idea where this request would actually belong, but I know one of you mods/staff will see this so it'll end up getting to who I need to.

I was thinking, we have a product review section and a vendor review section, but would it be a good idea to have a vet review section? I had to bring Franklin to the vet early this spring so I hit up our vet list thread for my state, but had to do external research to find out where I should go (thank goodness I have an aquantaince with a Sulcata as well as a few other exotics so I went there since he had luck). but many people here probably don't have that benefit, and finding a good reptile vet is important. (I only say this because I know one of the Vets listed on here for my state isn't that great at all with exotics and I almost went there, and wonder how many people around me on this site have gone) I feel like its pretty important because its pretty much where you go when you need a very knowledgeable tort person, because something is wrong.

I mean it could be set up by state like the vet list so people could go to their state and see what people have to say.

Am I on to a good idea? or am I just missing a section of this site?

We don't want vets on our list who don't know tortoise stuff. So we depend upon you, our members, to let us know the names we need to remove from our list.

Is there a specific person to go to about it? And do we need personal experience with them? Since there's one that's on the list that's real close to me (and i'm not stating which outloud here since I don't want to seem like i'm smashing on them or anything) That although dedicated to mostly cats has people who are called exotic specialists, I've never personally gone, since I've read many poor reviews online, and had an old coworker go there with her bird and have a bad experience.
I mean I assume people here do their own research anyways but if the research revealed nothing good I can only wonder as to why its still on here?
Giving whoever it needs to go to the name, they can do simple google research and find out the same things I did, so its not like I'm making things up. But since its not from my own personal experience I don't want to outright post the name here since I have no place to ruin any reputation had.
I hope i'm making sense, i'm having a hard time coming up with the exact words to get my point completely across

No, I understand completely. Any of the moderators are able to update the vet list, however, it would be best if one had personal experience - either good or bad - before asking us to update.

I just went and re-researched the place I was talking about, since I was going to mention a quick search could show what I mean, but despite all the bad reviews, there were a few good ones from people with reptiles too, so I guess without personal experience I don't feel right calling it out, so I understand.

On a somewhat unrelated note, the vet I do go to has a website you can go to for appointment scheduling on their website, would this be included in contact info? Since its not currently on the info list, and I found it quite helpful in making my first appointment. I only ask since I noticed a few others had website info from other states and countries.
