Morning. I see a lot of info about the high humidity needed for hatchlings. But I can’t seem to get a clear understanding about levels for adults - if a four year old is an adult that is? I live in a dry climate and may need to be adding more moisture to the substrate. I have a monitor hung down at tortoise level that usually reads 30 and 50% depending on the time of day and the water I’ve added (can hang around 60 if I’ve just added water)
He already had a fair bit of pyramiding when I was given him. At four years, what are the factors that are still effecting his shell growth?

The humidity is for GROWING tortoises, mainly during their first couple years of life. After that it's not quite as important.
