I got the Craigslist find of the year!

This weekend I picked up a box turtle, Russian tortoise, a cage, a hide, 2 lamps, and a (bad) water dish. The cage is very nice. The Russian tortoise is a male (I was hoping for a female. Oh well I guess). The box turtle is a small ornate box turtle. Pics will come on a response in a second. It was listed for $100. I talked the guy down to $75. Once I got there and he saw I was a kid, he gave it to me for $50.

The enclosure is 33" x 24". I'm keeping the (about 3 inch) box turtle in it. They were immediately separated however they were kept together before I got them.

Ya done good, kiddo! I think the box turtle is a 3-toe (Terrapene carolina triunguis). It might be a luteola, but I really think its a 3 toe. The acrylic habitat is a really nice one. I can see many possibilities with it. And the habitat alone is probably worth more than the money you paid for the whole shebang! Good job.
