Infection?

I noticed O’s shell was looking a bit pink after a soak yesterday. Does this look like it's an infection or possibly Sepsis? I haven't seen it anywhere else like new growth.

No, not really. If you look down the middle line of his plastron it seems more internal than outside.?

I think it's ok however wait for an expert, because I am not..

That really doesn't look like sepsis. The newest kerating growth can be more translucent and has good blood supply beneath. It does look a littler wider than I would expect, but is still limited to that brand new section of keratin growth. However, keep your eye on it. If there are any other indications of poor health, seek help right away, though.

Thank you Mark. I definitely will keep an eye on it. He is otherwise eating like a pig, pooping bunches and acting very normal. Appreciate your help.
