I would like all of you to meet you my little angel! This is my wilma! Thank you all of you! Im happy that i found you! Now winter came and my babies have slowed down! They spent a lot of time in basking and they like to sleep! They eat less now! I finally use arcadia heat lamps floodlight and they like it! I try not to overfeed them since they don't want to move a lot! When i see sun i give them exercise outside! Also i use ceramic lamp at night! Can i sometimes to let them sleep in a blanket?

Welcome to the forum, she is adorable. Can you give us info about your tortoises living set up? Photos would be ideal. How many do you have?

I have 2! In sunny days i let them roaming outside in my yard! Its big! But right now I don't have big enclosures for the winter! I give them warmth and uvb lighting! I use coco coir for substrate! They have slowed down and they eat! But not so much food! The enclosures are small!!1 meter almost! At night the temperature is 23 degrees! Should i have problem with enclosures? They live separated!

23C is not a big deal for Russian tortoises. They can tolerate much lower temperatures if they can warm up under basking lamp next day. I think you can let them walk outside every sunny day in the winter for several hours (e.g. from 11AM to 2PM) if there is a sun in the yard.

Blanket won't keep them warm at night - they don't produce their own heat so blanket is largely useless.

Thank you! If i don't use ceramic lamps the temperature goes 20c or 19!!what do you suggest? In sunny days i take them out from 11 until 3 o'clock! And then i put them back in their enclosures which they go then for sleep!

17-18C at night is okay. 15C is perhaps, the lowest - there can be risks of respiratory infections.

Just in case, do you have mallow (μολόχες) now growing everywhere, too? It's a great food for tortoises.

I search everyday but not yet! I find only the leaves of mallow (cheeseweed)! In the meantime i find show thistle, hawkbits, plantain and cactus!! I want to find mallow!
