Introduction

I know there is a general Introduction thread on the forum but, I am getting a Russian so I am posting here since this is where I will be spending my time and getting answers.

I was supposed to pick him up this weekend but the current owners were busy and asked to delay it until next weekend. (Longest week ever!!)

He is 5-10 years old. And is my first Tortoise. I have had plenty of turtles, some for many years.
Currently have a leopard gecko and chickens. Looks as if the chicken and tortoise enjoy some of the same food.

I am getting his whole setup in that the owners son got tired of taking care of it. (That is how I got the gecko also) Not sure what it will be until I pick him up.

And if they bought him originally from a pet store, he's older than 5 to 10 years. Because the Russian is a small species, most pet stores think they're younger than they really are.

Picked up our new friend today. First thing I noticed was he is a she. LOL
