So i got 2 babie sulcatas. 1 looks perfect. The other looks to me like his shell may have been damaged in shipping. If so, should i be doing something extra for him?

I don't see what you're talking about, John. Is it a crack at the very front, or is that just a string of substrate?

Sorry, my phone is being a pain...
I didnt think to take the pics before i sprayed so its hard to see what i am talking about. On this one the joints are all miss shaped and are grayish when its dry. The others is all smooth and brown and pretty..

Hey John, they both look great to me! I think what you are referring to is the new growth. Torts will also grow at different rates, hence why they are different.

I'll send you a picture of one I have. It has the same growth lines as the picture.

First is healthy, second is questioned. Notice the gray spots?

Ok that's better, yes it just looks like the one (with gray spots) is simply growing faster than the other one. Still looks healthy to me. Make sure you keep up with the calcium and UV rays as they are growing.

No problem at all, you're not alone. Many first time owners have the same concerns. I give mine calcium twice a week. Ya I had the same storm come through that you did. It was really cold for a couple of days but luckily things are back to normal here!
