I have my radiated tortoise over 10 yrs, but after some environment change, I started to observe that she have wounded around all of legs. And obviously it was a pressure from her shell that always trying to rolling into the leg.
She has an enclusure like 4 x 6ft and daily soak as normal. She is active and quite good of food and pooping.
The base soil is just coco coir and very dusty.

Ignore the dry skin since I am put her in my room for several hrs for a walk.

Not sure either. Would be unlikely. I would look for any bugs that might bite or poky sticks in the enclosure. Could be something in your room you are letting her walk around in which is a big no no. Also a 4x6 enclosure is way too small for an adult Rad. A 4x8 is recommended as a minimum for a much smaller Russian.
