Getting any Indian star tortoise this week .
Trying to build an enclosure like this . But can’t find water land tub .

Again, needs a closed chamber with high humidity. Being by a window can be dangerous as you can't control the temps of the heat or cold coming thru.Hatchling . Gonna live indoor but next to a large open window next to direct sunlight .

Hello and welcome. I have a tip: Unless you have your heart set on an Indian for some reason, get a Burmese star instead. Much hardier, very outgoing and bold, same basic appearance as the Indian. They make a much better pet in my experience.Getting any Indian star tortoise this week .

Coco coir or orchid bark are pretty much your only options. From these two, I would recommend coco coir for a hatchling.What should I put for bedding ?
