Is it safe?

this grass has popped up in a couple patches in my yard. what is it and is it safe? Thanks in advance

looks like Johnson grass. I feed it to my sully all the time no issues.

Cut a bail of fresh grass for my sully today eating fescue and johnson grass as you can see hanging out of his mouth when I shot the picture. he is 20 yrs old and over 100 lbs and snaps that johnson grass like french fries. Lol!
