So I've been thinking Lylah was a she but in another thread it was mentioned that Lylah may be a young male. I forgot to add more pictures to that thread so here are more now [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Tail shot. Sorry I couldn't get her to let her tail out while being held.

Too fat to completely shut his/her shell. Maybe it's a good thing this boxie isn't eating as well lately [FLUSHED FACE]

It will be hard to tell at that age, but especially this time of year.
I've noticed that the tail size of my males can be less distinguished in the winter but that come spring time the base of the tail will swell up.
I think another year or two and you will see some more male characteristics show.
I strongly suspect young male. My main reasons for it is at this age of your ornate that the orange front legs and the head coloring are to distinguished to be female.
I think you will see this progression. The head will become mottled with hints of green will start to appear. The front legs will increase in color(mostly orange). The tail will grow in length and thickness along with the shape of the hind feet changing slightly to a more exaggerated toe shape(for locking onto females).
All of these characteristics take several years to be overwhelmingly noticeable but I think I see them beginning already in yours. If it ended up being a female I would be very surprised. But stranger things have happened =P

Looks like my little boy. So I would say a male.
