Hi, is Toto developing some pyramiding here (that last photo especially - the front scute 😭)? I think he's about 1 years old (but I've only had him for 1.5 months). Location Hawaii. Enclosure humidity (75-85%), temp (80F). Trying to do the daily soaks as muc has possible, but sometimes we miss a couple days a week). In past 2 weeks I've been letting him roam in the garden for hours. Diet hibiscus, papaya, mango, and boiled egg once a week. I'll start doing daily soaks without skipping from now on but just feeling a little bummed about this and hoping to get some opinions on his current status and preventative ideas. Yes he is. Closed chamber high humidity daily trios outside for about an hour. Do not use halogen or mercury bulbs, they cause pyramiding. Coil bulbs are bad on the eyes so don't use those either

I don't use any bulbs because I put him outdoors for a few hours about 5 times a week. Should I be using bulbs too?

Not if the temps inside are fine without added heat. Needs to be brightly lit though even from just a regular bulb.
Be sure the humidity is correct inside. Just because it might be 80% outside doesn't mean it is inside.
Damp lower layer of substrate with dry on top in a closed chamber and temp should be around 85.
Uvb isn't needed as long as you are doing the outside.
