Is my baby sick?

My baby sleeps most of the day as well and I think it's normal when they're young. He literally comes out, eats for 30 minutes or so, does a lap around his enclosure, and goes back to bed 2-3 times a day. Keep soaking and feeding poop is a great sign.

You can also do a 50/50 mix of carrot baby food and warm water while soaking to stimulate appetite if you're concerned.

So an update on the little guy. Today s/he went outside, ate some lettuce and hibiscus. I guess I'm wondering if she doesn't prefer eating right when s/he wakes up?

Mine doesn't for sure. Sometimes but usually he'll nibble, go back to bed, and emerge at 11-12 to really eat.

It's somewhat comforting to know that someone else's tort does the similar thing. That's pretty much exactly how it was today
