Is My Sulcata Weird?

this is how he sits while he eats :p too funny.!!


But he has a soft spot on his belly. is that normal?

i dont know how old he is im still trying to find out. his length is 2 and three eights of an inch and he is not heavy enough to push the keyys on my laptops keyboard. i measured him on Jan. 2nd

Since they all grow at different rates it's hard to judge the age by the size. When my leopard was that size it was a little over 2 months old.

I don't think it's weird thats how chewy eats and sleeps but sometimes when he sleeps his legs arn't even on the ground he just stretches them out behind him like he's flying

yep, ryan is the same with his leg positions. sometimes its the superman, the splits, the squat, the flop, the pinwheel, the hurdle, the frog or the karate kid.

does he use his legs normally when walking? with splayed legs and a soft spot , Id question the calcium intake and absorbtion..
if he walks normal,, then probably ok

Mine don't sit like that while eating. Does he ever get sunshine? Indoor UV?

he has basking bulb and tube uvb, has a calcium block and cuttlebone in his cage and i sprinkle supplements on his foods as well. he walks perfectly fine :)

My adult Sulcatas sometimes eat like that all splayed out... I have Noticed most of the time it's when it's really hot...or when I just place the food in front of them and they can't be bothered to move;)
