Is my tortoise in season?

I am very much an amateur when it comes to tortoising. I have a female hermanns tortoise that is (i think) 5. I was just watching her and it looked like she was going to do a wee or poo but she looked a little unusual so i bent down and had a look and her pink sphincter (i think it was anyway) was extremely visible, I don’t think my tort has ever done this before, and this transparent lubricant came out in droplets.
The only explanation i could think of was that she was in season. I could be completely wrong but please reply.
