Is my tortoise okay?

I was looking at my tortsie and was going to bring him outside and picked him up when i notice he had a large pink and red thing hanging out of his butt. Not worm like it was kinda like a tight blob. Once i picked him it went back inside. Im not sure if it is prolapsed because i then soaked him and he did poop. But im kinda freaking out that it still is a prolapsed butt. I have a vet appointment in a week.

You do not need a vet for this, and will probably get terrible advice if you go to one.

What you saw was a tortoise erection. How old is your tortoise, and what species?
