My Burmese star baby has something on his lower rear jaw. I'm guessing an infection. The closest exotic vet has been booked today but it's 4 weeks out! They said on the phone if it looks like they're sick and getting worse then get to an emergency exotic vet. I found that is about 1.5 hour away.

Is this an emergency? I just saw it this morning during soaking. As far as physical activity, he's still very active, pooping, eating today.

Hard to tell from the picture, but it might be an abscess.

Looks like a little wound of some sort. I'd put an antibiotic ointment on it and keep an eye. Do you have any Vetricyn? It's good stuff for things like this. You can dab it on with a Q-tip.
I can get that at my local pet shop that is literally 10 min away. I will do that right now. Thank you!

But if it were me, I would pick the scab first and try to express any puss or foreign objects first.
