Is this light any good?

Hey everyone

I would just like your opinions please of this bulb. I will post a picture below. We are having trouble getting the megaray at the moment and want to get her all set up!

Yes. Those are very good for certain applications. Where are you? If your tortoise can get some real sun in an outdoor enclosure two or three times a week for most of the year, you don't need those bulbs. I just use regular 65 watt flood bulbs from the hardware store. I raise or lower them to get the right temps.

MVBs are too big to run in most closed chambers, which are the best way to raise young sulcatas.

In the UK - Rainy Wales! We are currently changing the indoor enclosure at the moment so she can have the best before she goes out in the summer. At the moment she has an arcadia 30W 10%+ UVB. The last one we had we took to the vets to be measured and were told it was on it's way out and it was quite new!
