The ingredients on the package say it is timothy and alfalfa hay only.

Is it pellets or just dried hay? If you are buying a package of hay from a pet store, it is so old, stickery and dry that most tortoises can't eat it. If its pellets, it would probably be ok, might have to moisten it. But just remember to feed it in addition to the fresh greens, weeds and grasses.

You'd be better off going to your local tack and picking up a bale of alfalfa or orchard hay and storing it...it's more economical and a helluva lot more nutritious!
