Is this safe for sealing a table

I have no experience with this one, but all the paint people I've talked to tell me that no conventional paint, primer, sealer or epoxy will stand up to being wet all the time.

Also, how will you maintain humidity in an open table?

you only need to seal the part that's going to be covered by the substrate, hence, you can't see the wood grain anyway, so why don't you use plastic stapled to the sides, or tiles and grout, or pond liner, etc. Use whatever varnish or sealer you want on the parts that are exposed for view, and let it sit outside until all the fumes are gone.

I just want something to protect from the humidity. I plan on using a pond liner also. Here's a picture of it photo.JPG
